My client is one of the leading Engineering Consultancies in Saudi Arabia currently working on a number of major projects and are in urgent need of various individuals to strengthen the business within the Engineering department.

One of their most pressing requirements is for a Specifications & Standardization Specialist in Riyadh. Applicants must have previous experience of working in a similar role and environment. Applicants must also be aggressive in their approach and be able to manage workload as well as helping to develop the business.

Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):

  • Identifies, applies and develops relevant specifications and standards guidelines and best practices

  • Oversees and documents the enforcement of specifications and standardization regulations to support operational excellence

  • Oversees and documents the conducted cost reviews and supports operational excellence by recommending measures and initiatives to optimize costs

  • Reviews and develops specific procedures and for specifications and standards

  • Assists in review, updates and maintain of specifications and standardization

  • Highlights risk and recommends mitigation

  • Undertakes or assists in special tasks and assignments as needed

  • Performs audits, evaluations and reviews of other’s documentation, acting as the final checkpoint prior to document distribution

  • Conducts final review and approval of the work of other specialities

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years with 7 years in field of engineering

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering) from an accredited University; Postgraduate degree would be preferred

  • Regional experience in leading and directing large scale, integrated, multidisciplinary specifications and standardization projects and studies

  • Knowledge in preparation and implementation of sustainability-based process driven, specifications and standardization

  • Knowledge of internationally identified methodologies, specifications and standardization

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a variety of Food Retail & Leisure New Build and Fit Out projects nationwide up to the value of £5m. The successful candidate will be No.1 on site and hold responsibility for programming, phasing of works, managing design team, and drive output.

Job:
