Architect

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Attend client meeting with the Director and assist in taking the full client brief.

• Develop concept designs on based on client brief.

• Manage Revit teams on the development of detailed design drawings.

• Researches, plans, designs, and administers building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials

• Prepares architectural details as and when required for execution of works.

• Ensure that the architect’s design is delivered by the contractor and is responsible for dealing with any on-site design problems that arise.

• Addresses modifications desired by Client in co-ordination with Design Architect.

• Assists Project Manager in review and selection of architectural materials are in compliance with approved material submittals. Issues all architectural correspondences.

• Highlights any violations to architectural related issues on site

• Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist Project Manager in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in project’s drawings.


Qualifications and Requirements

• Min 3 years Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.

• Minimum 4 years of Architecture experience

• Leadership skills

• Experience in hospitality/commercial projects/healthcare projects is an advantage.

• Good understanding of Middle East Building Codes with a Middle East Experience is a plus but not a necessity.

• Strong communication skills in English. Arabic would also be beneficial.

• Knowledge of Revit software is a plus but not essential.

• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple tasks.

They are looking for a Site Manager to join their existing team and as part of that team you will be responsible for delivering new build projects to the value of £5M. Although you will be based in West Yorkshire ,you will be required to work away from home.


Required skills:

• Civil, Steel framework and groundwork experience are essential

• The ability to take projects from inception to completion and deliver on time with minimal defects

• Must be number 1 on site

• Must have SMSTS, CSCS and 5 day first aid

• Prepared to work throughout England

• Setting out experience preferable

• Good communicator and resource manager
